"Smokiní Of The Gun" by Joseph James
Suicide is so rampant in our society. Joseph wrote this song on March 25, 1998. He is so grieved by the effect of suicide, not only on the victims, but also on those they leave behind in pain. There are many ways to die and this song typifies the most violent of them all. Choices are laid out before us, but which one do we choose. Who really sees us where we are in our loneliness and despair? Who really cares? Who will reach out and help us in our time of need? Most of all, who will we trust, the voice of the enemy or the voice of the One Who cares the most?
